Hello, I’m 37 and currently live in Los Angeles California. 2015 was my first exposure to kettlebells. I was always sort of athletic, but never trained seriously at all, and really took to CrossFit. I went from no training, to “no rest days” for about 2 years. I’m sure you can see where this is going, but I ended up with a really debilitating elbow injury that took a very long time to work through.
“I would do hotel room kettlebell workouts and always found myself returning to the gym stronger and more capable than when I left”
I’ve been injury-free for years now; often doing yoga and bodyweight workouts, but really lacked motivation and focus to take them seriously. I used to travel a lot for work. During this, I would do hotel room kettlebell workouts and always found myself returning to the gym stronger and more capable than when I left. Because of this, I’ve always kept a few kettlebells around.
A few months ago I started to really feel the need to get back to work. I bought a few kettlebell programs online but with nothing to hold me accountable and poor form; I found myself on YouTube more. That’s when I found that Cavemantraining Titanium workout follow-along video. I found that video to be of higher quality information than any program I had previously paid for. Not only was the workout extremely challenging and fun, but the breakdowns were fixing things in my mechanics. Doing this video a few times a week for a few weeks was giving me direct, measurable, results.
So now I’m here.
I consider myself a kettlebell beginner, and I’m looking to greatly improve my fitness in all areas.
Excited to get to work!
