How To Do Kettlebell Gorilla Cleans—HIIT BEASTS

This is a step-by-step super detailed progression/tutorial for the kettlebell Gorilla Clean. These are one of my favorites to program for HIIT, EMOMs, and other interval training. They skyrocket your heart rate in an instant and are great for cardio and strength.

In the video, I demonstrate a detailed progression to the kettlebell gorilla clean that anyone at any level can work up to.

  1. Hang lift with one kettlebell
  2. Hang clean with one kettlebell
  3. Alternating hang clean with one kettlebell
  4. Racked hang clean (one kettlebell racked and clean the other)
  5. Work on back/leg strength
  6. Alternating hang clean with two kettlebells
  7. Gorilla cleans

A great kettlebell workout with gorilla cleans is the Gorilla Blackback workout. Be warned, it’s an advanced workout. Check it out below, complete the workout and let us know what you think.

A kettlebell Tabata (not real Tabata) with Gorilla cleans is below.

A great but advanced kettlebell complex with Gorilla clean is the Mjölnir complex.
