Different Levels

Master The Kettlebell Swing has several different levels that are based on the same material (this course material) but with different tests and exams. The following is an explanation of these levels and you should make sure you enroll, as explained in the instructions, in additional levels if you paid for those.

Kettlebell Course Enrollment Levels

Master The Kettlebell Swing L1 Material

Access to all the study material but without exams or certificates. This is the current course material.

Master The Kettlebell Swing L2 Course

Access to all the study materials and open exams without any pass requirements. This is the current course material plus the need to enroll in L2.

Master The Kettlebell Swing Certification L3 Trainer

Upon passing you’ll receive the L3 Trainer Certificate
For professionals and at-home users that want to be assessed
Covers and teaches advanced subjects but does not require testing on them
Test: 200 unbroken double-arm kettlebell swings with a suitable weight
Completion limit: 3 months but you can request a 2-month extension upon enrollment if you start the course with absolutely no previous experience
Titles issued: CKC Kettlebell Trainer, L3 Kettlebell Trainer, Kettlebell Swing Trainer
This is the current course material plus the need to enroll in L3.

Master The Kettlebell Swing Certification L4 Teacher

Upon passing you’ll receive the L4 Teacher Certificate and L3 Trainer
For professionals
Requires testing on advanced subjects
Test: 200 unbroken single-arm swings with a suitable weight and a maximum of 7 switches
Certificate: Trainer and Teacher
Completion limit: 5 months but you can request a 2-month extension upon enrollment if you start the course with absolutely no previous experience

Titles issued: All from the previous level, CKC Kettlebell Teacher, L3 Kettlebell Teacher, Kettlebell Swing Teacher
This is the current course material plus the need to enroll in L3 and L4.

Master The Kettlebell Swing Certification L5 Athlete

Upon passing you’ll receive the L5 Athlete Certificate, L4 Teacher, and L3 Trainer
For professionals
Test: Completion of the 28-Day Kettlebell Swing Challenge
Additional requirements: 10 reps with a 48kg/106lb for males and 32kg/70lb for females. L4 test is to be performed with a 20kg/44lb for males and a 16kg/35lb for females. The Swing Challenge is to be completed with a kettlebell 1/3 body weight.
Certificate: Trainer, Teacher, and Athlete
Completion limit: 6 months
Titles issued: All from previous levels, Kettlebell Swing Specialist, CKC Kettlebell Athlete, L3 Kettlebell Athlete, Kettlebell Swing Athlete
This is the current course material plus the need to enroll in L3, L4, and L5.

Master The Kettlebell Swing Certification L6 Coach

Upon passing you’ll receive the L6 Coach Certificate, L5 Athlete Certificate, L4 Teacher, and L3 Trainer
For professionals
Test: Requires the filming of a coaching session, program, and workout design
Certificate: Trainer, Teacher, Athlete, and Coach
Completion limit: 8 months

Titles issued: All from previous levels, CKC Kettlebell Coach, L3 Kettlebell Coach, Kettlebell Swing Coach
This is the current course material plus the need to enroll in L3, L4, L5, and L6.

Level 3 and up include physical assessments, tests, exams, and concludes with a certification upon passing successfully. Enrolling in level 4 provides everything from level 3 and so on. For example, when enrolling in level 5, you will need to complete all tests and assessments from levels 3 and 5.

If you enrolled in L1 or L2 then you don’t need to worry about submitting anything. You can request to upgrade.
